An analysis of cognitive science in complex dynamic environments starts off, including concrete examples in the NASA in-flight icing training program. This is followed by presentation of data from air line pilots in Part 121 Subpart O and N training compared to air line pilots in Advanced Qualification Programs. A Third presentation explores a process for developong recommended training practices and standards development. The concluding panel addresses goals, resources and indicators with a panel format.
